Leisurewear, say hello to the wedding aisle.

Millennial women will agree that fashion is all about comfort these days, and your wedding day look should be no exception. No-fuss brides, meet Sleeper, a brand of home wear garments (and arguably the label that made wearing pajamas outside of the house cool). The company just launched a new wedding collection and trust us when we tell you this line is nothing like any millennial-centric design we’ve seen before.
While creating the collection, founders and former fashion editors Katya Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa, had one group in mind: Modern millennial brides. “While working on the collection, we wanted to look at the wedding fashion through the eyes of our generation of millennials,’ said Zubarieva in a statement. ‘Character and beauty are what we expect from the dress first of all, but we also seek multifunctionality.’
And that versatility is one reason why we love the collection so much. Take, for instance, the ‘Atlanta’ dress, a smocked bodice dress with long, voluminous sleeves that can be worn multiple ways. Keep the sleeves up for a conservative look or drop them off-the-shoulder to add some playfulness. The design also comes in two materials—linen for the ultra-casual bride and silk for the romantic.
We wanted to create something unique and simultaneously giving a woman saying perhaps the most important ‘yes’ in her life an opportunity for self-expression.
“The world of wedding fashion has changed over the past 5 years,” shared Varetsa. “Women of our generation are increasingly choosing garments in favor of comfort and personal style rather than outfits worn, though for special occasions, but just on one single day. We wanted to create something unique and simultaneously giving a woman saying perhaps the most important ‘yes’ in her life an opportunity for self-expression.’
Not only will you be itching to wear your wedding gown again, but your bridesmaids will be, too! Consider dressing your ‘maids in one of Sleeper’s white silk slips for a clean, crisp and minimal look. One design even features pale pink feathery straps—giving the dress an unexpected hint of color and a very feminine feel.
And of course, Sleeper’s newest line isn’t without some dramatic elements either. Finish off your look with a pair of ruffled gloves, which come in bright white and soft pink. Or, throw on the white linen cape over your gown for the journey from your ceremony venue to the reception site.
Ready for the comfiest bridal collection yet, millennial brides? Keep scrolling to view all of Sleeper’s latest looks, which are all under $500. Then, tell your girl gang that you said yes to a dress (and that you found their gowns, too!).
